FME International User Conference
All of us at Safe Software are getting very excited about the upcoming FME International User Conference in Whistler, BC June 11-12. Our previous User Conferences have been a great opportunity for users and Safe staff to meet face-to-face to share knowledge about FME. Prior to the conference, there is a day of workshops covering some advanced FME uses and brand-new functionality led by Safe’s Professional Services team. There are some great opportunities for users to visit the Doctor’s Office and get help with their Spatial ETL ailments or to attend a presentation from a fellow FME user to see how others are using FME. We are always impressed with what our users present, and this year looks like another great presentation line-up. The always entertaining Plenary Session with Dale Lutz and Don Murray is sure to be a blast with our dynamic duo co-founders demoing some of FME’s latest features, and giving users some insight into the future of FME and FMEServer. We are also pleased to have GIS consultant and geo-blogger extraordinaire James Fee giving a keynote on removing barriers to data sharing.
You can follow the conference live on twitter at @fmeuc or #fmeuc, or on IRC at #fmeuc on irc.freenode.net.
We hope to see some of you in Whistler next week!
