A look inside the ways that FME allowed GIS experts with minimal SQL experience to assemble and maintain a Master Address Repository. Local governments provided addresses as used locally, regardless of file format or data composition. Address data expertise was packaged and documented in a series of FME projects, and successfully used to migrate the raw local data into a cohesive, quality controlled database.
