Presentation Details

Keeping up with tax parcel changes in one of the fastest growing counties in the United States is a difficult task as the landscape footprint of Forsyth County is dramatically changing daily. Forsyth County has adopted the ESRI Local Government model to help standardize data content, improve workflows, develop best practices, and most importantly, to keep up with data management, spatial analysis and the inputting massive amounts of new data. FME workbench has become a critical tool to help populate published tax parcel features which are associated with specific information from the Tax Assessors CAMA (Computer Aided Mass Appraisal) system. Automating this process provides consistent updated information to the Tax Assessor department, other county employees, and citizens of Forsyth County.
