Implementing INSPIRE with FME

The INSPIRE directive for the establishment of a European Spatial Data Infrastructure requires the provision of harmonized spatial data via standardized services. In order to fulfill the INSPIRE guidelines and specifications, data transformation and schema mapping of existing datasets and databases into the specified INSPIRE data models is usually necessary.To simplify the complex schema mapping, con terra GmbH has developed the INSPIRE Solution Pack for FME. It is based on standard FME technology and extends the already existing functionality with additional FME-INSPIRE logic, which supports and significantly simplifies the mapping.
