Leveraging ArcGIS Online and FME Server to Make Asset Management More Efficient

The City of Springfield made a significant financial investment into a new Asset Management system; unfortunately due to Security restrictions, IT infrastructure, and staffing reductions Supervisors, Managers and City Council members often times where given status updates that were either 4-6 months out of date or estimations. Needless to say; Springfield Public Works was falling drastically behind in its input of critical records as they related to work management and asset management. In search of a more efficient data entry system, The City of Springfield has begun leveraging the power of FME server and the Flexibility of ArcGIS online to make mobile asset and work management a reality in Springfield.
