In the US, state Departments of Transportation (DOTs) face some unique challenges, including spatial and LRS data process and representation, which are above and beyond those experienced by most other enterprises.

The Arizona Department of Transportation’s (ADOT) leverages FME technologies to connect the data silos, enable data visualization and discovery, harmonize LRS, spatial and non-spatial datasets, and weave best practices into a strong data governance fabric. The presentation shows how FME is used to enables and orchestrates the workflows, dashboards, metadata, quality control and data improvement.
