Finavia, a Finnish aviation organization, receives XML based water monitoring data from different Finnish airports. The data is received automatically, validated with FME Server and if not valid, it is sent back by email to the data provider. If the XML data is valid, it is written to a database. With FME, tedious manual work has been changed to an automatic process saving time and money.
