To assist a Regional Telecommunications company to convert large amounts of non-earth projection based spatial data, Korem used FME to automate the typically arduous process of identifying points for rubber sheeting. This automation process utilized various aspects of the typical CAD based information and 3rd party information to derive candidate points. The automation utilizing FME spatial and data transforms as well a ‘fuzzy’ logic process.
