Enabling CAD Upload to Web GIS

My company is using CAD for surveying purposes, and has also developed an extensive web GIS system, used both internally, and externally by our customers. There's always been an urgent internal need to bridge the two worlds, and we've found that our external customers also need to view their CAD data on a platform accessable by just a browser. Before FME this required using a desktop CAD, but with FME Server this has become much simpler to handle, and easier to maintain and expand. We're currently building a generic mechanism to enable users of our web GIS to upload any CAD file by themselves, to be automatically published to the web GIS interface.
